We are looking for a concept-strong graphic designer (preferably senior) + a senior web developer + contact with freelancers who want full or partial affiliation with an agency.

Rayon Design is a full service design agency specialized in increased brand awareness through relevant positioning and use of design as a strategic tool. We have many exciting clients, and with an increased volume of assignments we need more dedicated colleagues.

We are located in Oslo Science Park, and our customers comes from a number of industries. We have a long list of successful projects ranging from comprehensive identity- and design programs to small specific design tasks.

We are now looking for a concept-strong graphic designer (preferably senior), and contact with freelancers who want full or partial affiliation with an agency. We want designers with experience from developing visual identities and web design, as well as good understanding of digital user experiences. Skills in illustration, film or photo are of course a plus. You master relevant Adobe / Office programs and preferably Sketch, XD, etc., and are a self-propelled, positive and social team worker.

SENIOR WEBUTVIKLER (FULLSTACK-UTVIKLER)
Du har minimum 3-4 års erfaring med følgende:

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / jQuery, og responsive design
Utvikling basert på følgende verktøy og teknologier: PHP (WordPress / WooCommerce) og database (MySQL)
Erfaring med oppsett og definering av webarkitekturer, lage interaktive prototyper og wireframes
Fordel med kjennskap til Linux (Centos og C-panel), Angular eller React.js rammeverk
Du har inngående forståelse for hele utviklingsløpet fra kravspesifikasjon til deployment
JUNIOR WEBUTVIKLER
Du har minimum 1 års erfaring med følgende:

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / jQuery, og responsive design
Gjerne erfaring med å lage interaktive prototyper og wireframes
Gjerne erfaring med publiseringsløsninger / CMS, som WordPress
Kjennskap til og arbeidserfaringer fra Git

Wages in accordance with agreement

Norway Kingcrab has started catching, selling and international distribution of the sea’s most attractive raw material – live Langoustine. Our task has been the positioning strategy and the preparation of a visual concept for this unique product – from this unique player in live seafood. Thank you!

Exciting new customer for Rayon; Malthus and Uniteam merge!

Module- and construction equipment supplier Malthus merges with market leader on container solutions Uniteam as. Together they will form a new, powerful company within module based construction, container solutions and construction equipment. Rayon Design have been chosen to assist the new company, Malthus Uniteam, with market positioning and identity development, including the development of visual identity and online solutions.

There is a lot of history in both companies, many product areas to be communicated, and not least that the markets in which they operate are constantly changing. This makes the assignment both complex and demanding, but also very exciting. We are looking forward to a lot of exciting challenging work in the future!

New location, new ideas and new opportunities!

In August we moved into new offices in the Forskningsparken (Oslo Science Park). Overall it is located approximately 240 small and large companies engaged in innovation and pioneering work in Forskningsparken.
For us working with design and visual positioning in both traditional and digital channels, this is a very exciting environment for us to get into.
Autumn has started well with several exciting new projects for both existing and new customers, and there are several challenging projects to be initiated.

Norway King Crab – new website and tracking system

The new web site shows the identity and origin of NKC (Norway King Crab), as well as the story behind the catching process, from pot to platter.

A tracking system developed in cooperation with Maritech lets the consumer scan a tag attached to each crab, and receive info about weight, when, where and by whom it was caught.

Tracking is important as it gives NKC full control of the product from the fisherman to the dish, as well as facts and data for researching and optimizing the well-being and quality of the crabs.

At the same time, the tracking and tagging of crabs gives NKC an important channel for customer communication, and it makes it easy for consumers to communicate with them or the fishermen. The restaurant or consumer may establish direct contact with those of the fishermen who offers fishing tourism and have their own website or Facebook page.

New clients for Rayon

Fürst Medisinsk Laboratorium has chosen Rayon to assist them with their design and communication tasks. They are the market leader in their sector and a very exiting company with a strong brand position.

Conceptomed, with the new award-winning product, Luer-jack, has also chosen Rayon as a partner in design and communication. Luer-Jack is the result of a revolutionary product development for attachment and removal of syringe needles. With its world patented solution they have received widespread recognition and attention so far.

We look forward, and appreciate the confidence, to develop design and communication tools for these exciting companies.

Finally a new website for ourselves!

For some time now, we have been working on our own website, and now even the shoemaker’s children can wear their own shoes.

The website is responsive and developed with WordPress CMS. We hope that you will find some interesting things, and that you will sign up for our newsletter that will be published in a short while.

Lately, Rayon has received several new customers, among others Norway Kingcrab, Curato Røntgen (X-ray) and the pharmaceutical companies Astellas and Calpro.

We really appreciate the confidence and look forward to developing good communication tools and outstanding design for those companies.

Increased delivery capacity – new advisor at Rayon

Sverre Slaastad comes from the position as Nordic Growth Director in Baxter and as of August he is employed by Rayon as Senior Advisor.

Sverre has a Master in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian School of Business and an executive MBA from Insead/CEDEP. He has long experience from branding and marketing through more than twenty years in various managing positions, sales and marketing
